Melanie Archer was born and raised in Westchester, NY. Her love for fashion started as a little girl as she would watch her mother at the sewing machine. It was during those years she knew this was going to be her career path. In 2001 Melanie attended Berkeley College and received her degree in Fashion Marketing and Management. Later she went on to start a career in wardrobe styling, where she has enjoyed the honor of working backstage during NY Fashion week. She has assisted with some of the fashion industry's sort after designers like Oscar De La Renta, Naeem Khan, Chado Ralph Rucci, The Blonds, and BCBG Max Azria just to name a few. After interning as a stylist assistant for a few years, in 2011 Melanie was given the opportunity to become the lead stylist for Westchester Weddings magazine doing a 4 page layout including the cover.

In 2012 she started working with Wolford, a European company specializing in high-end hosiery and women's ready-to -wear. After only one year with the company she was promoted to Brand Manager where she oversaw two major accounts Bloomingdale's, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
