Let's Make Your Job Search EASY!

The job search process may give some a feeling of loss, a feeling of confusion, and even fear. We don’t know what’s next, who will respond, if our resume is good enough, or if the job you applied for is really what you’re looking for.

Take a pay cut? Negotiate your salary? Negotiate benefits?

It’s a big scary world out there! But it doesn’t have to be!

In this blog I'm going to give you some brain tips and 4practical steps to finding the next job:

Your brain tips:

I would like you to start thinking of this job search as an opportunity. You are starting with a clean slate!

For just a second, think about how one of your last jobs drove you NUTS!

Now think about something valuable that job developed in you. You moved on to a new job and used some skill that you learned.

Did you learn a new software? Did you learn tactics to handle a difficult customer? Did you sharpen your ability to manage emotions like anger or even rage?

Every job teaches us something new and every job brings you into a new level of expansion.

Be an open vessel! Only good things are coming!

It’s your time to align your thinking to what is to come, because your possibilities are endless.

Your 4 keys to finding the next job!

1. Align the way you’re thinking about the job, you’re not in desperate seek. You have an opening in your life for a new opportunity to grow. What company and position fits your vision and your lifestyle? The way you think changes things!

2. Put yourself at the top of the list by being competitive; show off your strengths on your resume and cover letter. Are you a good leader, manager, task organizer? Mention it, highlight it and explain it.

3. Play the part face to face. They were impressed by your resume, now talk and act the part. Remember, you’re interviewing them so your confidence should be noticeable. I said confidence not cockiness! LOL

4. Look the part. Everything matters! The jewelry, the clothes you wear, the shoes, the color of your stockings, tie color, etc.

The world awaits you!
